In addition to evaluating potential in-fill locations on lands PPI currently holds under lease, PPI is also actively evaluating potential prospects brought to us from outside sources. PPI’s Royalty Acquisition Department is actively seeking mineral interests and is expanding its current activities in Tarrant and Parker Counties, Texas. Preliminary lease acquisition evaluation is taking place on several shallow oil prospects in New Mexico which have been brought to PPI by the highly respected Harlin Consulting of Dallas, TX. Also, PPI is in the process of structuring a joint venture with Drilling Technology, Inc. of Dallas for the acquisition and development of a shallow oil steam flood project in Missouri which has the potential to recover in excess of 1.5 million barrels of oil.
